- Description
We are currently assisting a local private school to help them recruit a School Receptionist / PA to the Headteacher.
Any applications will be sent directly to the school who will assess applications and contact applicants directly.
This is a permanent position reporting into the Headteacher, School Governors and liaising with the school communications officer.
- PA to Headteacher / School Receptionist
- Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm during school term time plus 2 weeks extra
- 40 weeks a year plus occasional school events
- Permanent position
- £16-18k for working 40 weeks a year (annual equivalent of 20-23k)
Duties and responsibilities;
- · Act as first point of contact for school enquiries and visitors
- · Support the Communications Manager in delivering internal and external communication
- · Provide clerical support to the Headteacher and staff
- · Maintain school admissions database, SCR and all student and staff files
- · Prime point of reference for staff, pupils and parents if they require administrative information
- · Support the production of, and distribute, meeting minutes, school reports and other documentation (letters etc.) as required
- · Collate and prepare the school diary and school calendar
- · Provide administrative support for all school events, trips and sporting activities
- · Maintain and order clerical stock
- · Provide administrative support to enable the delivery of school compliance requirements
- · Prepare and distribute school weekly newsletter
- · Any other clerical duties relevant to the post (to include facilities hire)

- Excellent ICT skills, particularly Microsoft office
