Role: Mechanical Engineer - Door to door travel
Location: Yorkshire
Salary & Package: £35K per annum based on 40 hours per week
Comparable salary:
40 hour give 30 mins each way travel (45 hour week)
40 Hours Flat, 5 hours x1.5 - £40k per annum
Call out rota 1in 6 standing payment £130- Minimum call 3 hours x1.5
Paid travel door to door
Only 30 mins deducted for lunch
Over time, after 40 hours x1.5 & Sat AM, & x 2 Sat PM & Sunday
23 days holidays plus stats.
Van & Fuel card.
They are looking for a reliable Mechanical Engineer who is able to work under their own steam, undertaking, small works of water heater swaps, plant room upgrades, PPM's and reactive maintenance.
The company is well established in the UK and have a string of long standing contracts within FM. They vary from Offices, public buildings, education through to leisure.
Areas include: Yorkshire, North West, East Midlands & North East
You must be comfortable dealing with end clients and using your abilities to solve problems & issues on your own.
You must have a can do attitude and good attitude to doing other building services tasks such as basic electrics & mechanical work.
You will ideally possess a clean driving licence.
You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
Qualifications:
· Commercial Gas Qualifications
· Plumbing or Pipefitting NVQ's
· F-gas of benefit but not essential
· LPG of of benefit but not essential
· 17th edition/18th edition of benefit but not essential
The role would ideally suit a skilled Engineer who is looking for a new challenge in a well established firm.
