Description

Role: Junior Estimator


Location: Sheffield


Salary: £25000 to £30000 based on 40 hour week 8-5 at office with 1 hour lunch


We are working with a well-established national sized Facilities management company who are looking for a junior estimator.


You will be required to assist in the compilation of estimates, quotation requests and the production of project tenders. You will be required to assess the sourcing of plant hire, equipment and materials as well as reviewing and approving sub-contractor quotations. Contracts include Hospitality and leisure.


You must be comfortable dealing with end clients and using your abilities to solve problems & issues on your own.


Skills, Attributes, Qualifications:


- GCSE's Math & English Grade C/L4 or above


- Able to accurately perform mathematical calculations


- Competent with use of technology


- Good IT skills


- Competent in managing large amounts of information


- Ability to work independently and perform self-review


- Ability to assess data quickly and make subsequent decisions


- Practical and logical qualities and a methodical way of thinking


The role would ideally suit a junior estimator who is looking for a new challenge in a well established firm.
