Senior Facilities Defects Manager
We are recruiting for a Facilities defects and Life cycle Manager to manage facilities defects which have been either found within the facilities or set out in the ‘Facilities Issues Deed’.
Summary

The faculties Issue Deed covers such existing matters as (but not limited to) fire compartmentation, roofing leaks and Ground Source Heating System.
This will include but not be limited to all related contract and commercial matters and discussions negations with the relevant parties.
Duties include:
- Implementation of the Facilities Issues Deed
- Management of all facilities Defects
- Procure and manage specialist consultants to determine defect matters as
- Review survey reports and evaluate findings
- Schedule out work packages and relating program
- Carry out defect strategy reviews
- Manage the implementation of the survey or remedial works via facilities management partners
- Budgetary control over the defect issues
- Expert Witnesses and Legal Teams
Qualifications/Requirements
- Degree level qualification in a construction or property discipline or significant experience
- Sound understanding of technical building defects in a PFI contract setting
- Experience of dealing with various construction consultants & legal bodies
- Procurement knowledge
- Planning and programming experience
- Good MS Excel understanding
- Knowledge and experience of H&S regulations
