Role: Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services
Location: York
Salary: £45k- £52k plus package.
Mechanical Design Engineer required for a leading building services M&E client near York.
My client has a full order book for the next 2 years and is looking to strengthen the team with a lead mechanical design engineer.
You will assist in the overall preparation and submission of detailed design and co-ordination of Building Services design solutions.
The ideal candidate should have experience of commercial & industrial work.
The company has a well known & respected reputation in the market.
Key role responsibilities:
- Carry out design calculations utilising both manual and computer techniques to recognised industry standards
Communicate design onto a drawing, commensurate with the stage of design for CAD by self or others
Must have experience using CAD / Revit / Heavacomp / BIM/ Simap etc/
Co-ordinate with other building services within a building, changing drawings accordingly
Follow set QA procedures
Working close with the client
Dealing with design issues
