Asset Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager to join a leading Facilities Management Organisation to work on a facilities management contract in Thetford. This is a full time, permanent role.

As the Asset Manager you will be providing the Facilities Management Contract with structured asset lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies through the creation of an expert team, and the development of robust systems and processes on a large and complex Facilities Management contract based in Thetford.
Duties
- Develop, update and maintain an accurate asset Lifecycle Plan for customers in line with CIBSE guidelines
- Work with the CAFM Support team to create a reporting function for asset renewal and enhanced maintenance strategies.
- Assist the CAFM Support team in improving their systems and processes to build and improve customer and user CAFM experience.
- Be the first line of contact for a team of subcontractor surveyors, and manage the surveying tool, Mobiess.
- Working with other teams to provide reports to the client on Forward Works and Lifecycle issues
- Provide input to the Sales Team on the development of new business techniques on Asset Management and Lifecycle reporting
- Assist the mobilisation team with reporting needs and surveying practice
- Ensure all activities are delivered within agreed budgets.
Qualifications/Requirements
- An industry recognised qualification in engineering, building services, management or facilities management (ILM, HNC, HND or equivalent vocational qualification) is desirable.
- Previous experience within asset management
- NBOSH, ISOH, or British Safety Council safety certification is desirable.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Packages
- Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical
- Awareness of replacement asset costing and lifecycles
- Proven track record in the management of asset data bases and CAFM Systems.
- Previous work experience managing budgets
