My client is looking to hire a receptionist to manage the reception area of a brand-new building they are moving into in the city centre of Grimsby.
The role is Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 17:00 and is a temporary to possible permanent role starting on the 6 th of August. The role will be reviewed on 28 th of September at which point the role may be extended or offered as a permanent role. This is a great chance to work with a well-established company in a city centre area completing a professional role.
You will be working in the reception area so will be working independently most of the time so ability to work alone is a must in this role.
Duties include:
- Greet visitors at our newly refurbished town centre offices ensuring they are directed to correct department.
- Ensure the correct security and health & safety procedures are followed for all visitors.
- Carry out a variety of general administrative tasks to include but not limited to, answering the telephone, scanning documents and entering information into a database.
- Ensure the best use of meeting space is achieved and that all meeting spaces are presented in a professional manner.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- As the first point of contact for the business you will have previous experience of working in an office environment, with frontline customer services experience
- Experience of general administration
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
As a note, there is no parking on site as the role is based in the city centre but is easily reached by public transport.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Previous receptionist or administration experience
- Good IT skills including word, excel and outlook.
- Be customer focused
- Polite and professional
- Happy to work independently while on reception.
