We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a leading Facilities Management Organisation based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

As the Project Manager on this Facilities Management Contract, you will be responsible for generating and delivering a variety of project work on the customer sites. You will have full accountability and responsibility for managing and delivery of project works and will be accountable for project financial and commercial performance
Duties
- Identify and generate project opportunities from within a set portfolio of maintenance contracts.
- Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
- Become the “go to” person for project services across a range of clients.
- Work with developers, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of works.
- Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome.
- Deliver projects within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins.
- Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required and carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns.
- Work within the current CDM process. In the main taking on the role of principle contractor.
- Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven Project Management experience in an M&E, Facilities Management or critical environment
- CDM regulations
- IOSH Managing Safely and/or SMSTS
- Recognised technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical or Project Management.
- Up to date knowledge of the construction market
- Strong Commercial awareness and financial acumen
- Strong financial acumen
- Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation
