Our client is looking to hire a Facilities Assistant based at a school in Pudsey. You will work alongside the cleaning team and report to the superintendent on shift to manage and deliver a high standard of cleaning to the facility in a very hand on role.
Duties of the role include:
- Working alongside and managing the cleaning team
- General day to day cleaning
- Ensuring PPMs are carried out in line with task schedules
- Planned and reactive duties
- Health and safety associated with the role and proactive in spotting and reporting potential health and safety issues
- Keeping accurate compliance records for the site
- Administrative duties and paperwork.
The successful candidate should possess.
- Strong communication skills
- Effective customer care and relation skills
- Presentable and confident
- Management and supervisory skills
- Computer literacy and basic administration skill
- Work well as part of a team or individually.
- Previous experience with buffers and carpet cleaners. (Desirable but not essential)
- NVQ Cleaning (Desirable)
