We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Technical Services to join a leading Facilities Management Organisation to work on a defence contract in Suffolk. This is a full time, permanent role.

General Overview:
As the Head of Technical you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the hard services delivery (mechanical and electrical engineering, Asset, building fabric etc..) and compliance on the contract.
Duties
- Lead a large technical team including Engineers, Asset managers, SHEQ and Performance Manager
- Ensure all sites are following the Health, Safety, Quality and the Environment local operating procedures
- Develop succession plans for the contracts within the portfolio
- Ensure that appropriate monitoring of services is in line with Contract requirements and local agreements
- To work collaboratively with other Business areas to drive operational efficiencies where possible
- Understand and be receptive to what is going on in other parts of the business marketplace (internal and external) and communicate key messages to the team
Qualifications / Requirements
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience in a Technical Mechanical Or Electrical (M&E) Environment
- A developed understanding of all Facilities Management (FM) disciplines
- Excellent understanding of SFG20
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Experience of performance related contracts and management systems;
- Well-developed presentation, influencing and motivation skills
- Experience of managing a multi-disciplined team
- Creates and communicates a vision for success
- Generates excitement, enthusiasm and commitment to the team vision
- Positions self as leader and models desired behaviours to suit
- Shows resilience to work pressures
- Strong IT skills and competent with Microsoft Office packages
- Preferred experience of Understanding MoD compliance requirements
This role will be offered subject to Security Clearance.
