We have an exciting opportunity for a Hard Facilities Management Lead for a large defence site near Portsmouth to manage and lead the technical Operations & Maintenance Services team.
Duties
- To safely deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the site and associated outstations
- Line management of 7 direct reports and up to 65 indirect reports
- Develop and demonstrate high levels of safety awareness, risk management/compliance
- Accountable for Service delivery outputs ensuring the contract is running effectively, efficiently and within budget
- Ensure all contractual KPI’s are met
- Ensure schedule compliance and liaise closely with other stakeholders to proactively address delivery problems
- Host audits for ISO accreditation.
- Preparation of quotations and allocation of resources for out of scope works.
- Provision of material management service to maximise the efficiency of the in-house (Hard FM) teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience of Managing Total Facilities Management (TFM) or Hard Services on a large, highly complex environment ideally on a defence contract
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001.
- Preferably NEBOSH qualified
- Project Management experience
- Experience in managing multi-disciplined teams
- Strong financial awareness and budget management
