My client is looking for and M+E Supervisor to join their team to provide a high quality mechanical and electrical maintenance service to their commercial customers across Essex. You will work across portfolio of properties including schools, Learning centres, libraries, offices etc completing ppm and reactive work. You will also managing the engineers of the team which will become a more prevalent part of the role over the next 12 months as the team grows.
The work is very varied facilities work and will be hands on as well as managing subcontractors. Types of kit you will work on are full M+E Services include:
- Pumps
- Motors
- Water pressures
- Change over switches
- 3 phase
- Drains
- Fresh water
This is a great opportunity for someone from an engineering background to move into and FM role in the long terms and the client is happy to consider candidates from the Facilities sectors as well as Utilities and also more engineering environments such as the Underground or Plant engineering.
There is a call out rota which is optional and overtime available.
The ideal candidate:
- The ideal candidate will have experience with the aforementioned kit
- Mechanical or Electrical qualifications
- Driving License
- Keen to progress within a business
- Strong engineering skills and willing to turn their hand to all areas of engineering and FM
- Strong customer service skills
