Commercial Gas Engineer
- Location: Redcar

Our client is looking for a commercial gas engineer with HVAC training to join their maintenance team on their contracts in the Redcar area.
The Role
- To perform maintenance of Ventilation Systems
- Planned maintenance on commercial gas services, boiler maintenance, general heating faults, PPM's expansions vessels
- To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement
- To undertake planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work either independently or under the supervision of the Lead Engineer
- To undertake planned & reactive maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools
- To operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM
- To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the Maintenance Supervisor or tradesman of any follow up action that may be required
- To provide mobile support to satellite sites as necessary
- To ensure pathways & roads are free from debris
- To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate
- To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services
- The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance services
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified to BTEC/ HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualification
- Experience in Facilities Management Environment
- Post holder to hold a full clean driving license
