- Location: Kingston Upon Thames
- Salary: £200 - 240 per day depending upon experience
Our client is looking for a Site Manager to join their team to work on refurbishments of government buildings, including schools and offices.
The Role:
- You will be required to work across a couple of sites in and around Kingston Upon Thames
- You will report directly into the Project Manager
- Works on site could include overseeing subcontractors on school roofing contracts, cladding and refurbishment contracts.
- You will be responsible for the work being carried out by the contractors on site in line with CDM regulations.
- Issuing permits
- Ensuring all all H&S files are kept up to date and ensure the safety of workers on the site
- Ensuring everyone is inducted on site
- Checking method statements.
- Checking work on site.
- Checking equipment & plant.
- Programming works in relation to the clients requirements.
- Programming emergency evacuations.
- Working 10 hours per day
- There is a lot of paperwork involved in this role
Qualifications & Experience
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black
- 1st Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- Driver
- Good communication skills.
