Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Fabric Engineer in the Trowbridge area of Wiltshire. The is a permanent role working 40 hours per week 8am-5pm. The successful post-holder will be responsible to supervise a small team of mobile/static workforce and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that staff and sub-contractors are deployed, trained and fully capable of carrying out defined activities, work and tasks to the required levels of quality and productivity
  • Ensure clear communication with workforce, customers, line management, office support staff, subcontractors and third-party suppliers
  • Provide technical support for client, support staff and workforce
  • Ensuring delivery of services in line with contract KPI's/SLA's
  • Undertake quality assurance inspections on a predetermined amount of all works delivered and record
  • Ability to survey and cost additional/remedial works as required and provide supporting documentation in a timely manner
  • Continually demonstrate an understanding and commitment to customer care
  • Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues' clients, customers and work as part
  • Maintain and audit maintenance records of all work carried out on plant and equipment within the site manuals both hard copy files and electronic
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive callouts and minor projects on all associated building services equipment and plant, general fault finding and repairs to building services equipment assets
  • To participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hours

The Ideal Candidate should possess:

  • A strong background in joinery or carpentry
  • Supervisory or management experience ideally in Facilities Management.
  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • IPAF
  • CSCS
  • NVQ or City and Guilds in Joinery
  • Full driving licence
  • Able to interview immediately.
