Description

  • Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
  • Permanent
  • North of London
  • £40 000 - £45 000

The Contract : You will be working for a market leading FM company who provide hard FM services to a variety of commercial clients. The contract you will be working on is a mobile patch of high-profile offices south of London - across the North above the M25 so a high level of customer service is required for this post.

The Role:


  • You will be part of Mobile Engineering team to provide the following services:
  • Pre-planned Maintenance, Reactive repairs and maintenance - Electrically biased
  • Fabric Maintenance, Fire Detection, Fighting and Protections Systems and BMS
  • · Compliance and Statutory Inspections
  • · Fault find and carry out repairs on all mechanical / electrical systems and HVAC equipment
  • · Ensure the site's logbook is kept up to date, and all losses, recoveries and additions are recorded appropriately.
  • Paperwork associated with the role
  • Work in line with Health and safety guideline to provide a superior service to the client.
  • On call rota for out of hours emergency cover

Working on kit such as:


  • Valves, pumps and HVAC equipment.
  • Air conditioning systems such as VAV, FAT boxes.
  • Cooling Towers
  • Air Handling Units
  • Water Treatment
  • Building management system (BMS).
  • Control systems
  • Electrical power distribution and lighting systems

The Ideal Candidate


  • City and Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Engineering - Level 2 or 3
  • 17 th /18 th edition
  • Good practical knowledge of mechanical maintenance
  • Experience working with BMS
  • Legionella awareness is advantageous but not essential
  • Recognised Health and Safety Qualification, such as NEBOSH / IOSH would be advantageous.
  • Driving License
