Role: Project Manager – FM (Healthcare or PFI)
Location: Wakefield
Contract: Permanent, Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm (37.5 hours)
Salary/Package: £55,000 + £5,200 car allowance or company vehicle, 5% annual bonus, free parking, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life cover (2x salary), employee discounts and wellbeing support, professional training, cycle-to-work and holiday purchase schemes, access to employee networks.The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading provider of technical and FM services delivering key public sector projects. Experience within healthcare or PFI environments is desirable.
You’ll manage a variety of lifecycle and refurbishment projects in live healthcare settings, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. Working closely with clients, you’ll shape briefs, control budgets, and oversee projects from start to finish.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.
Manage the financial performance of around £4M annual project value.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Procure and manage contractors and suppliers to the required standards.
Maintain all project documentation to meet ISO and audit requirements.
Lead project reviews and report progress to senior stakeholders.
Drive value, performance, and profitability.
About You
You’ll have solid experience managing FM or healthcare projects, ideally in live, operational environments.
Requirements:
Proven record delivering FM or refurbishment projects (£1M+).
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Confident in leading teams and subcontractors.
Strong communication and IT skills (MS Office).
