Position: Commodity Buyer – Aero
Location: Italy

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Commodity Buyer to lead commodity strategies and ensure efficient procurement across our aero operations. The Commodity Buyer will drive supplier performance, support engineering and manufacturing initiatives, and contribute to business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute commodity strategies, aligning with engineering and manufacturing objectives.
• Manage supplier selection, development, and overall supplier performance, focusing on cost competitiveness, capacity, and delivery.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies for purchase orders and supplier contracts.
• Drive sourcing and business initiatives, including cost reduction, project savings, design-to-cost, and BCC penetration.
• Scout and evaluate new suppliers in Europe and globally.
• Collaborate with Legal on terms and conditions negotiation.
• Support BOM costification, Blanket Orders, Autosource, and rebate activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics with relevant procurement/commodity management experience.
• Proven experience in Procurement, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Positive, adaptable attitude with a willingness to embrace challenges.
