Contract: Long-term - 13-year PFI contract (Temp-to-Perm available)

Clearance: Enhanced DBS required

We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver high-value electrical lifecycle and refurbishment projects on a major healthcare site in Manchester. Working as part of a long-standing PFI contract with up to 13 years of ongoing work, this role offers security, variety, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position if desired.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Subcontractor Management - Oversee and coordinate specialist electrical contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met.
  • Compliance & Safety - Maintain strict adherence to HTMs, industry standards, and healthcare regulations, upholding the highest levels of safety on site.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Act as the key liaison between the client, project teams, and subcontractors, providing regular updates, mitigating risks, and driving solutions.
  • Budget & Programme Control - Monitor costs and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong technical expertise in electrical installations, ideally within healthcare settings (emergency power, critical care, specialist lighting, comms systems).
  • Proven track record in project management, delivering large-scale electrical works in live, operational environments.
  • Sound knowledge of RIBA stages and HTM requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to health & safety best practice.

This is a prime opportunity to work on one of the North West's most significant healthcare estates, with a guaranteed long-term pipeline and the option to secure a permanent role down the line.
