Description

Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Location: Manchester (Large Healthcare Site)

Contract: Temporary 6 Months ongoing (Starting ASAP)

Rate: £400 - £450 per day CIS

 

We are seeking highly experienced Electrical Project Managers to oversee electrical lifecycle projects on a large healthcare site in Manchester, which is currently undergoing a major renovation. 

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Leadership: Take full responsibility for managing the electrical lifecycle works on a large-scale healthcare renovation project.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. Regularly monitor performance and progress.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant healthcare regulations, industry standards, and health & safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the client, project team, and subcontractors. Regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and any issues that may arise, providing solutions where necessary.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that costs are managed effectively and within allocated limits. Oversee the project schedule and ensure timely delivery of electrical works in line with the overall renovation timeline.

     


Essential Requirements:


  • Extensive Electrical Knowledge: Strong technical background in electrical installations, including knowledge of systems used in healthcare facilities (e.g., emergency power systems, critical care areas, lighting, and communications).
  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects, with a focus on electrical installations, subcontractor coordination, and meeting tight deadlines in a live environment.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and timely project completion.
  • Health & Safety Focused: Knowledge of industry regulations and experience in implementing and maintaining strict health and safety standards on-site.
