Static Electrician
Location:
Manchester - (M2)
Salary:
£36,318 per annum basic
Callout 1 in 4 (£300 per week on-call payment plus o/t)
Overtime paid at 1.5 and 2.0
Contract:
Permanent, full-time
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday

The role:
Working for a large FM company as their Electrician, onsite, carrying out duties on a large public building.
Duties:
Carry out various electrical tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company.
Replacement of Consumer units or Distribution Boards / Power Distribution
Installing final sub-circuit wiring
Fault finding
Replacement of sockets, light switches etc.
Replacement of light fittings
Testing in line with current regulations
Fault finding and carrying out remedial works
Undertake work as part of a multi-skilled team which is non-electrical
1st-time fix achieved wherever possible
Appropriate use of safety equipment
Liaise with client, managers and contract administrator
Ensure accurate completion of documentation
Will be required to join the On Call Rota
Skills and abilities:
18th edition qualified
Have excellent organisation skills
UK driving licence
Working knowledge of BMS systems
Health and Safety knowledge
Awareness of Mechanical Systems associated with a large complex public building
