Role: Grounds Maintenance Operative (Temp to Perm - Full Time)
Location: Hull
Salary: £12.31 PAYE (£24,000)
Our client is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team immediately.
The Role
- Work within a team in daily landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks, ensuring work standards are maintained.
- Perform various grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting with a ride-on mower, weeding, litter picking, sweeping, leaf blowing, and chemical application.
- Carry out additional tasks including planting shrubs, tidying gardens, and jet washing courtyards to keep estates clean and tidy.
- Conduct line marking for football/rugby fields and athletic tracks.
- Operate and maintain vehicles, machinery, and equipment, ensuring they are clean and secure while liaising with clients and contract managers to maintain positive relationships and safety standards.
The person
- Previous experience in Grounds Maintenance
- PA1 & PA6 desirable
- Driving licence required
