Maintenance Plumber / Mechanical Fitter
Newcastle
Permanent
Salary Equivalent £33,100 plus on call
Our client is looking for a mechanical fitter to join their estates team in Newcastle. This is a permanent role.
The Role
As a mechanical fitter/plumber, you will be joining a team of 20 staff to assist with the maintenance within a plant room and their estates departments.
Duties include:-
- Servicing Steam Plant and boilers
- Servicing air handling units
- Servicing and maintenance of calorifiers
- Servicing and maintenance of plate heat exchangers
- Pipework
- Working on pressure systems
- Legionella awareness - servicing thermostats mix valves and recording temperatures.
- TMV servicing
Qualifications
HNC/ONC/C&G plumbing or mechanical engineering
