Our client is looking for an approved electrician to join their team as a mobile electrician working on commercial and industrial contracts
The Role
- To provide a presence on site for operational responses, as well as planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- To undertake and oversee small installation works, carry out repairs and remedial works as well as investigative/fault finding works.
- To take responsibility for on site job reporting/cards which are completed on our own in house, personalised platform. The role will include (but is not restricted to) heating controls, lighting upgrades, emergency light testing, condition reporting and fault finding.
Qualifications & Experience
- City & Guilds 2391-52, Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations Course or equivalent ·
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (Desirable)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
- Experience and knowledge of heating controls.
- ECS card
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in performing electrical installation, testing, fault finding and working with heating controls.
- Full UK driving licence
- Be comfortable using smart phone/tablet/laptop
- The ability to work confidently alone
- Enthusiasm towards working with apprentices and trainees with the ability to provide guidance and support
