Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Temporary to Permanent Role
- Salary £25,200 plus on call @ £2k
- 37.5 hour week ( 8 - 4.30)
- Location: South Shields
- Immediate Start
Our client is looking for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join their hospital maintenance team based in Newcastle.
The Role
As a electrical maintenance engineer, you will be joining a team of 17 staff to assist with the maintenance of a couple of hospital estates departments.
Duties include:-
- General repairs of lights and lamps
- PAT Testing specified equipment
- Replacing switches and sockets
- Minor works include installing additional sockets
- Minor changes to ring mains
- Replacing and repairing data cables
- Installing new IT points
- Maintenance or replacement of any damaged property ( within an electrical remit)
Qualifications
- Time served Electrician
- 17th Edition
- Clean UK driving licence
- Standard DBS required - we can apply for this
The Person
You will be looking for a move to work for a company that has a steady pace, 37.5 hour working week.
You may have experience of working in a hospital
You will be looking to become a permanent member of the maintenance team.
