HVAC Compliance Engineer
Edinburgh
£40K-43K
Our client is looking for a HVAC Compliance engineer to be based in Edinburgh on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Have a good working knowledge of the requirements of related Health Building Notes, Health Technical Memorandums and any other relevant legislation and statutory compliance.
- Lead on the planning and completion of verifications, inspections, validations, commissioning and testing in accordance with published procedures, completing all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.
- Be able to undertake fault finding on complex and critical systems, utilising cause and effect analysis, manufacturers literature, drawings and schematics to gain a solution.
- To liaise with the Mechanical Manager & Maintenance Supervisor regarding plant or equipment failures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- A technical background within HVAC services preferably having had significant exposure to a Healthcare environment.
- Holds (or has held) an AP/CP appointment for Ventilation
- Significant demonstrable experience in a similar role
- A relevant formal qualification in mechanical engineering and/or building services engineering or relevant trade qualification.
- Must have (or be able to obtain) Disclosure Scotland clearance.
