Electrical Engineer
- Location: Teeside
- Salary up to £28K ( depending upon experience)
- Permanent 38.75 hours per week
Our client is looking for an electrical engineer to join their maintenance team to work within the education sector.
The Role:
- To undertake planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work either independently or under the supervision of the Lead Engineer
- To ensure all H&S is adhered to on site and that facilities are maintained to the companies standards.
- To assist with carrying out risk assessment and method statements
- Update PPM records and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure accurate reference data
- Liaising with the client during internal and external audits
- Meticulous record keeping within the Water Log Book to HTM & L8 standard
- Operational input to BMS, ensuring that the building internal environment is controlled within contractual requirements.
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools
- To provide mobile support to satellite sites as necessary
- To take part in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365 day cover to the Facilities
- To carry out winter gritting and snow clearing duties as necessary.
- To ensure pathways & roads are free from debris
- To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate
- To provide support and assistance to other company personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified to BTEC/ HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualification
- Prior experience of working within an estates function
- Full driving license
