Account Director

We have a great opportunity for an Account Director to join a leading Facilities Management Organisation on a Healthcare Contract based in Manchester.

As the Account Director, you will be the senior lead for communicating and delivering the Business deliverables and outcomes on the contract and will be expected to work closely with the Senior Management team to identify and exploit opportunities to grow the business in the portfolio.

Duties of the Role


  • Responsible for financial and operational delivery of the contract
  • Management of sub-contractors including CDM and H&S requirements with the support from compliance and H&S manager
  • Liaise with the client / customer senior representatives on all matters
  • Carry out contract monthly meetings with the client and end user
  • Carry quality audits to assist the assurance quality Manager
  • Complete and review monthly reporting data to be compiled by the administration team
  • Managing Supervisors and the delivery team
  • Carry out safety audits and deliver staff and sub-contractor inductions, briefings and toolbox talks
  • Fair and consistent attitude in all dealings at all levels
  • Clear communication of the company vision and objectives ensuring the implementation of new procedures
  • Promote and drive the company values
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change

Qualifications/Role requirements


  • Significant experience operating at a senior level within a Facilities Management Contract delivering contract services (ideally healthcare)
  • Experience at managing Soft and Hard Services contracts as well as outsourced deliveries.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience of performance related contracts and management systems
  • Good presentation, influencing and motivation skills, with experience of managing a team
  • Strong IT skills and competent with Microsoft Office packages
