Assistant Commercial Manager
We are recruiting for an Assistant Commercial Manager for 8-12 months, to work on a high-profile contract based in Suffolk. This is a full time fixed term role working 40 hours per week.

As the Assistant Commercial Manager you will proactively support the QS and Commercial team on the successful management and control all aspects of the NEC Contract.
Duties:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the delivery team and or the client
- Undertake cost analysis for project work including compiling ROC's and firm pricing
- Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
- Managing variations with the Client and supply chain
- Manage subcontractor applications, payments, final accounts, and all associated Notices in a timely fashion
- Attend /support Operational Meetings as and when required. Attend Senior management site meetings when required.
- Provide cover or support for other areas within the contract, as and when required.
Role Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the Commercial Department of an NEC Contract
- Excellent knowledge of Quantity Surveying
- Good knowledge and experience in FM management
- Strong negotiation skills (Requirement)
- H&S qualifications to IOSH / NEBOSH or other standard or equivalent
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Establish and maintain good customer/client relations to ensure effective delivery and quality of work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and fluidly.
- Strong interpersonal facilitation skills.
- Adhere to all internal and external processes, procedures, and regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence
