Handyperson / Caretaker


  • Location Whitehaven
  • 2 weeks holiday cover to start Monday 15th October
  • Pay up to £10 per hour
  • 8.30 - 5.30 or 9-5pm

Our client is looking for a handyperson/ caretaker to work for 2 weeks holiday cover in their council offices.

The Role


  • Setting up meeting rooms
  • Practical DIY skills to carry out minor maintenance
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Checking premises to guard against vandalism
  • Taking incoming calls
  • Basic computer skills
  • Collecting parcels
  • Lifting and carrying

The Person


  • Immediately available to start Monday 15th October
  • experience of working in a similar role
  • Local to Whitehaven
  • You must be able to provide references for work that you have carried out in the past.
