Maintenance Electrician
North East
Salary £32k - £35k plus vehicle
Our client is looking for an experienced maintenance electrician technician to join their team based in the North East . You will be working on planned and reactive maintenance in commercial properties including schools, hotels and care homes.
The Role
- You will be able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- You will be able to design simple control circuits
- General repairs of lights and lamps
- PAT Testing specified equipment
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- Replacing switches and sockets
- Minor works include installing additional sockets
- Minor changes to ring mains
- Replacing and repairing data cables
- Installing new IT points
- Maintenance or replacement of any damaged property ( within an electrical remit)
Qualifications & Experience
- 17th or 18th Edition desirable ( client will put you through this if successful)
- Desirable - Testing & Inspection 2391 4/5
- Experience of working within a FM company or as a maintenance electrician within a hospital or education setting.
