We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Projects Manager to work on a large PFI Healthcare Facilities Management contract in Birmingham.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be based within the Passive Fire Protection Team in Birmingham and will have the expertise to drive & manage a complex project to its conclusion.
Duties of the role
- Establish excellent working relationships with the existing team, Clients & Construction contractor, and any potential sub-contractor.
- Act as a liaison with the Trust, Client team & Construction company to arrange and co-ordinate Passive Fire Protection remedial work and misting system works.
- Manage the Fire door works remedial programme on behalf of the FM Contractor
- Reviewing and inputting into the relevant Service Delivery plans on behalf of the FM contractor that are produced by the Construction Contractor in order to commence the above remedial works.
- Ensure dilapidation surveys and handover surveys are suitably undertaken to ensure Design Requirements from original construction are adhered too as well as all contractual elements.
- Arrange isolations where required, working with the APs on site.
- Manage and co-ordinate directly employed labour and sub-contractors in all aspects of the Passive Fire protection work.
- Review RAMs & proposals for each area.
- Make sure project risks are identified and managed through effective mitigation measures.
- Act as a point of contact, managing relationships with all stakeholders, consultants, and service providers, with emphasis on client satisfaction and business excellence.
- Ensure all records are kept & filed in accordance with company best practice.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must have Electrical experience within a PFI Healthcare environment.
- Self-starter, able to work on own initiative as a conscientious team player.
- Organised communicator with strong inter-personal skills.
- High level of verbal, written and numeric skills.
- Computer-literate (MS Office based Products: Excel, Word, Project & PowerPoint) with a sound knowledge of CAFM/estates and project management systems.
- A sound knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act; Construction Design and Management Regulations and other relevant statutory requirements.
