Contract Manager
£40-42K plus car/car allowance
Newcastle
Our client is recruiting for a Contract Manager to manage a portfolio of TFM/M&E Regional Contracts, Small Projects and Development of New Opportunities.
The Role
- Ensure contractual commitments are met in accordance with contract SLA’s and other
- Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and monitored. Monitor and manage WIP/Debt to an acceptable level.
- Achieve financial budget targets set by the Portfolio Manager
- Compliance with and record keeping for Company ISO Quality Management Systems.
- Control and monitor the performance of the specialist service provider and sub-contractors.
- Responsibility for the operational management and service delivery of all contracted services.
- Managing costs and maximising profitability in line with the regional budget and the requirements of the contract.
- Manage Small Project Work secured through existing contract and new non-contract customers
- To Deliver training and Corporate briefings
- To work with the operational and support teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded within the company’s asset management system
- To establish, operate and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services
- To maintain and agree a clear business plan for the appointed contracts
- Management call out rota one in five.
Qualifications, Skills or Required Experience:
- Relevant qualification Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience of Energy, FM and/or Building Services (whichever is applicable)
- Commercial awareness
- Financial Management (including profit and loss, cost control and budgets)
- Leading Teams and People Management
- Project Management
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and business technology, including CAFM Systems
- A Mechanical Engineering Background, with Experience of Gas will be an advantage
