Mechanical Fitter
- Healthcare Maintenance Contract
- Location: South Shields
- Pay up to £15.50 per hour
- 6 months contract
- 37.5 hours per week ( 8am - 4pm)
My client is looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join their facilities management team of 20 to work on a healthcare contract for the next 6 months.
The Role
As a mechanical fitter, you will be joining a team of 20 staff to assist with the maintenance within a plant room and their estates departments.
Duties include:-
Servicing Steam Plant and boilers
Servicing air handling units
Servicing and maintenance of calorifiers
Servicing and maintenance of plate heat exchangers
Pipework
Initial Gas checks - FGAS an advantage
Working on pressure systems
Legionella awareness - servicing thermostats mix valves and recording temperatures.
Qualifications
HNC/ONC/C&G plumbing or mechanical engineering
The Person
You will be immediately available.
You may have experience of working within a hospital environment.
You will be required to have a DBS if you do not already have one.
