We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to cover several contracts in around the Reading area. Managing around 20 large sites and a further 50 satellite sites, you will manage a technical team of 6 who complete ppm and reactive works across the M+E assets of the properties.

You will manage the P+L for the contract (circa £1 million) and be responsible for hitting contract KPI's, managing WIP and reporting performance and figures to the senior management team. You will also be responsible for managing the engineers on the contract and growing the team to provide an exceptional mobile engineering service to the customer.

Duties of the role include:

• Managing 70 sites around the Reading area, proving ppm and reactive maintenance to their M+E assets.
• Overseeing a team of 5 engineers and supervisor, coaching and upskilling them. Hiring and expanding the team as required.
• Responsibility for the P+L of the contract and associated reporting.
• Ensuring the KPI's for the contract are met and that the customer is satisfied with the service they are receiving.
• Working with specialist teams internally (A/C and combustion) as well as subcontractors to provide specialist technical support to the customer.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience of managing hard services contracts with a P+L value of £1m +
• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications
• Strong Technical background
• Experience of managing ppm and reactive works
• Commercial acumen
• Great people skills, able to build strong relationships with customers.
