HR Business Partner

Edinburgh

Salary £46,000 plus car allowance and bonus

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team based in Edinburgh. However, you will be required to travel to the North East of  England as well.

The Role


  • Coordination of the annual HR cycle, including annual salary reviews, bonus confirmation and performance management
  • Lead for mobilisation projects, structural change and other people change projects across the Region.
  • Ensuring talent and succession plans are in place across the business with appropriate development plans that are monitored
  • Advice on final stage grievance and disciplinary action including attendance at hearing as required
  • Compliance checking and review including clearances, adherence to government and process controls and GDPR
  • Analysis of progress against people KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement and monitoring outcomes
  • Establishment control, ensuring all changes are appropriately tested, approved and delivered and to safeguard profitability
  • Coaching line managers in all people processes to ensure best practice and employee engagement is enhanced
  • Continually review personal performance ensuring it meets the needs of users.
  • Responsible for mentoring, developing and oaching an apprentice based in the North East.

The Person


  • You must have strong experience of planning and managing change programmes.
  • Be able to deputise for the Head of HR
  • A strong level of experience and self assuranace is required to build and manage relationships at a senior level.

Qualifications


  • CIPD qualified & preferably member
  • Experience in an HRBP role
  • Track record in HR and change management
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice
  • Commercial acumen and credibility
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
  • Numerate with strong verbal reasoning skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadline and with conflicting priorities
  • Practical approach to problem solving
