We are currently recruiting for an FM Mobilisation Manager to work in the London and Home Counties area of the country on a new M+E contract that has been won on a large commercial contract. The hiring company is a large FM provider and there is a lot of new work in the pipeline including the mobilisation of new M+E contracts on Hospital, Government portfolios and Blue Light contracts.
In your role as FM Mobilisation you will ensure the successful transition of newly Facilities Management projects. This will be achieved through working closely the Operations Director and HR department to understand and manage the needs of the client and the new service agreement being delivered while undertaking the transfer of an incumbent staff and hiring new staff as required to ensure a seamless service deliver.
The duties of the role include:
- Manage an effective handover from the Bid Team to the Mobilisation team
- Ensure all stakeholders and service stream leads are aware of what is expected of them in mobilising the project and that they are effectively performance managed.
- Ensure any Mobilisation Plan outstanding/overdue items are addressed, with owners, for their completion.
- Engage and manage specialist capability where necessary ensuring materials and suppliers are procured in an efficient manner with capable organisations in accordance with procurement policy and procedures and ensure appropriate records are kept.
- Create a positive impression of our project management capabilities through being well organised ensuring delivery on promises.
- Ensure CAFM systems, where appropriate, are in place to optimise the management of all planned and reactive works.
- Demonstrate and maintain a high level of operational and commercial knowledge and works closely with the delivery team to review techniques and solutions to meet business and customer needs.
- Early identification of business risks in projects and ensuring that risk management, risk registers and contingency are in place to manage a minimise risk.
- Provide, for a period of circa 3 months, post go live support the Account Director and Operational Team in bedding in the newly established systems.
- Ensure the level of contractual and statutory compliance is measured and recorded prior to final handover.
- Fully induct new team members into the business and the new client count.
- Work closely with the Operations Director, Account Director and Human Resources department to ensure effective cultural change of all transferring team members.
- Undertake all duties in a manner that is professional and in accordance with the latest Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- Support the development of retention plans with the operational team.
- Participate in internal and external client debriefs.
- Attend departmental meetings as required.
- Assist senior management as requested.
Candidates:
- The ideal candidate will have experience of managing large scale mobilisation before
- Have worked in the hard services sector of FM
- Have experience ideally in PFI or Hospitals
