Head of Engineering

Immediate vacancy for a Head of Engineering in Cambridge


  • Cambridgeshire
  • Must be available immediately
  • 3 months 
  • Day rate £300  + day (negotiable)
  • Mechanical or Electrical qualified with Authorising Engineering experience (AE)

General Overview:

As the Head of Engineering  you will be responsible for leading and managing a large technical team including mechanical and electrical authorising engineers 

Duties


  • Lead a large technical team 
  • Health, Safety, Quality 
  • Contract Management 
  • Drive technical /engineering  operational efficiencies 

Qualifications / Requirements


  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience in a Technical Mechanical Or Electrical (M&E) Environment
  • A developed understanding of all Facilities Management (FM) disciplines
  • Excellent understanding of SFG20
  • Excellent man management and leadership skills
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience of performance related contracts and management systems;
  • Experience of managing a multi-disciplined team
  • Resilience to work pressures
