Head of Engineering
Immediate vacancy for a Head of Engineering in Cambridge
- Cambridgeshire
- Must be available immediately
- 3 months
- Day rate £300 + day (negotiable)
- Mechanical or Electrical qualified with Authorising Engineering experience (AE)
General Overview:
As the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for leading and managing a large technical team including mechanical and electrical authorising engineers
Duties
- Lead a large technical team
- Health, Safety, Quality
- Contract Management
- Drive technical /engineering operational efficiencies
Qualifications / Requirements
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience in a Technical Mechanical Or Electrical (M&E) Environment
- A developed understanding of all Facilities Management (FM) disciplines
- Excellent understanding of SFG20
- Excellent man management and leadership skills
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Experience of performance related contracts and management systems;
- Experience of managing a multi-disciplined team
- Resilience to work pressures
