Mechanical Fitter
Temporary to Permanent Role
Salary £25,200 plus on call @ £2k
37.5 hour week ( 8 - 4.30)
Location: Newcastle
Immediate Start
Our client is looking for an experienced mechanical fitter to join their hospital maintenance team based in Newcastle.
The Role
As a mechanical fitter, you will be joining a team of 17 staff to assist with the maintenance of a couple of hospital estates departments.
Duties include:-
Legionella awareness - servicing thermostats mix valves and recording temperatures.
Servicing air handling units
Servicing and maintenance of domestic calorifiers
Servicing and maintenance of plate heat exchangers
Pipework
Initial Gas checks - FGAS an advantage
Knowledge of steam boilers is an advantage
Qualifications
HNC/ONC/C&G plumbing or mechanical engineering
Clean UK driving licence
Standard DBS required - we can apply for this
The Person
You will be looking for a move to work for a company that has a steady pace, 37.5 hour working week.
You may have experience of working in a hospital
You will be looking to become a permanent member of the maintenance team.
