Head of Security, North West

We are recruiting for a Head of Security to work for a leading Facilities Management Organisation on a healthcare Facilities Management Contract based in the North West.

As the Head of Security, you will be responsible for managing the security division of a cluster of accounts including healthcare, education and local authority concessions.

Duties of the role

• Involvement with BID opportunities across the clients UK portfolio
• Ensure that all sites are manned to the agreed levels
• Line management of security managers and 60 plus indirect reports
• Manage the staff to ensure that the operational delivery of the service is maintained to the highest standards and to the complete satisfaction of the clients
• Measuring KPI's to ensure standards are constantly maintained/improved
• Manage expenditure to the agreed budgets
• Ensure that staff comply with Health and Safety requirements in all areas of their role
• Maintain accurate and up to date Assignment Instructions and review annually
• Monitoring staff performance
• Complete risk reviews of sites and report any recommendations to the Regional Director
• Provide monthly security reports to the Regional Director

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience working in a similar senior role within security
• Preferably a background in policing or military with higher level investigatory
• Previous involvement in Bid management
• A full valid SIA licence (Essential)
• First Aid at work accreditation
• In possession of/ working towards Level 3 Front Line Management qualification
• A full valid CCTV licence (Desirable)
