Electrical Manager
Darlington
37.5 hours per week
Salary £43,484 plus on call
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients who is looking for an experienced electrical manager to join their estates team.
The Role
- You will be directly responsible for the day to day management of direct and indirect Engineering maintenance staff, undertaking both maintenance and small works on the hospital site.
- You must have a good level of technical ability/competence as first line technical support is required to building craftsmen / trades.
- You will support maintenance programmes, advising on suitable maintenance scenarios whilst being mindful of budgetary constraints
- You must be fully aware of the relevant health & safety requirements, ensuring that all maintenance work and alterations are carried out in a safe manner in order to avoid any danger to the direct and indirect labour force whilst undertaking the work, as well as users of the site.
The Person & Experience
- You must be able to work and act on your own initiative and possess the ability to communicate effectively and in a pleasant manner, with all customers, users and staff.
- You should be self-motivated, with proven estates / building experience allied to excellent staff management and work allocation skills.
- You must have HVLV experience
- In addition you will have the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and service users. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team, under pressure and have a flexible attitude to your work to meet service needs.
This role is subject to a DBS check is successful.
