Senior Project Manager
We have an immediate vacancy for a Senior Project Manager to join a leading Facilities Management organisation managing multiple lifecycle projects in Manchester
My client will considr permenent or interim Proejct Managers for this role
Summary

As a senior project Manager you will be responsible for managing the project team to safely deliver, on time, to stated quality, at minimum cost and to client satisfaction.
Project work includes refurbishments, fit outs extensions etc..
Duties include:
- To act as the link between the client and other key stakeholders
- Overseeing production of tender schedules and contributing to procurement of trade contractors
- Preparing detailed project plan
- Establishing key relationships with the client and other key stakeholders
- Setting up regular and clearing lines of communication and report on weekly project and commercial progress
- Ensuring project/programme is kept up to date
- Assessing resources available on a regular basis and bringing in additional support/specialist expertise as and when required
- Establishing and monitoring appropriate project operating procedures and systems, specifically ensuring management plan is being followed and adhered to
- Managing, monitoring and coordinating all key aspects of the project including but not limited to cost, value, risk, logistics, neighbour relations, safety, quality, M&E, design and environment
- Providing financial reports on time (forecasts, budgets, income, fees and etc.)
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong understanding of healthcare projects
- Technical background mechanical or electrrical
- Successful track record of managing clients, contractors and other stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of UK legal framework including health and safety regulations, contract law, environment and building regulations
- Ability to manage budgets and forecast expenditure
- Excellent knowledge of key project processes such as design principals and management, construction processes, procurement and tendering
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
