Maintenance Electrician
Location: Tyne & Wear
Shift pattern 6 week rota
6 months minimum
£15 per hour days
£21 per hour nights and weekends
My client is looking for a electrical maintenance engineer to join their hospitals estates department for a minimum of a 6 months contract. This position could progress to permanent role.
You will initially works 3 weeks on day shift to gain an understanding of the hospital lay out and requirements.
The Role
- You will work on a shift pattern across a 6 week rota including long day shifts, night shifts and small day shifts.
- On shifts you will always be working alongside a mechanical fitter to cover all reactive maintenance across the hospital estate.
- Breakdowns
- Fire alarm testing
- Minor installations ( trunking, sockets)
- Emergency lighting testing
The Person
- Time served electrician or equivalent qualification
- 17th edition
- Inspection & Testing 2391
- Driver
- DBS required prior to starting the contract
