Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Gateshead
Salary: up to £32k depending upon experience
Fully expensed van
Hours 8am - 5pm
Our client is looking for a commercial gas engineer to join their team based in Gateshead.
You will be required to work within both the Commercial sector working in factories, offices and industrial environments as well as carrying out servicing in domestic properties for an insurance company..
The Role
- Carrying out servicing and repairs to a range of commercial systems including boilers and HVAC.
- Carrying out routine PPM and minor repair works.
- Follow the companies H&S requirements while on site.
- Attend site in response to requests and be able to effectively & efficiently diagnose & repair faults in systems.
- Ability to provide information as required to allow additional works to be carried out.
- Installation of new plant and equipment as per design and spec.
The Person
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Take responsibility & ownership of all tasks
- Experience of working in a similar environment including FM or building services.
- Must have completed an apprenticeship & relevant Gas NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Be able to provide certificates & level of competence for installation of services & maintenance of Gas field appliances
- Valid UK driving licence
