- Position: Small Works Project Manager - Fabric
 - Location: Edinburgh
 - Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + 5% bonus
 - Car Allowance: £5,200 or Company Vehicle
 - Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri)
 - Benefits: Onsite parking, 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, Pension, Life Insurance, Health and Wellbeing Perks - Join a leading facilities management and construction services provider as a Small Works Project Manager for fabric-based projects at an acute hospital in Edinburgh. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the safety, compliance, and aesthetics of a complex clinical estate. 
 - Role Responsibilities:
 - Manage multiple fabric-based small works projects, including:
- Ward renovations
- Redecorations
- Door and ironmongery installations
- Partitioning
- Ceilings
- Flooring
- Remedial work
- Compliance upgrades
- Create plans and schedules for project delivery in a live clinical environment, ensuring minimal disruption and a "right first-time" approach.
- Oversee supply chain management, including:
- Defining project scopes
- Conducting risk assessments and method statements
- Conducting quality checks
- Managing performance
- Handle procurement and cost control activities, including:
- Estimating costs
- Obtaining quotes
- Issuing purchase orders
- Managing variations
- Tracking budgets
- Take responsibility for health and safety and compliance, including:
- Fulfilling CDM duties
- Managing permits to work
- Adhering to asbestos regulations
- Ensuring fire-stopping measures
- Maintaining infection control standards
- Effectively manage stakeholders, including:
- Estates teams
- Clinical staff
- Authorised Persons
- Client representatives
- Provide progress updates and maintain governance by:
- Preparing progress reports
- Maintaining risk registers

 - Qualifications and Skills:
 - A proven track record in delivering fabric and building small works projects in occupied and live settings.
- A strong understanding of:
- CDM regulations
- Asbestos regulations
- Fire safety
- Safe systems of work
- The ability to:
- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Manage multiple concurrent project packages within set timeframes, budgets, and quality standards
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to:
- Influence
- Prioritise
- Keep projects moving forward
- Qualifications:
- PRINCE2, PMI, APM, or SMSTS
