About the Role

Are you looking for a role that offers flexibility during the day? Our client is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to work early mornings and evenings, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, to ensure smooth operations of the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who values work-life balance and prefers time off during the day.

As an experienced Cleaning Supervisor you will oversee and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across multiple healthcare sites, including NHS clinics and GP surgeries.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the cleaning teams, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and maintaining exceptional clinical cleaning standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of service.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards.

  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.

  • Manage schedules and resources to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and provide necessary training and equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within cleaning or facilities management, ideally within a clinical environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • IT literate with the ability to use reporting and scheduling systems.

  • A full UK manual driving licence is required (company vehicle may be provided).

  • A DBS check (basic level) will be required due to the nature of the sites.

If you are a strong leader with a hands-on approach and a passion for maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards, we would love to hear from you!
