Technical Administrator / Document Controller
Location: Ilkley
Salary: £12-£14PH PAYE
Mon- Fri - 40 hours per week
Summary
We are working with a medium sized M&E contractor who are looking for some temporary assistance for their workload. This could lead to a permanent opportunity. Initially the role is 4-6 weeks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain electronic and paper-based file storage systems required for projects
Coordinate trackers, registers and other tools as required to ensure that all stored information is available and accessible to the project teams
Manage the document transmittal process for incoming and outgoing project documentation and maintain a document register
Develop and maintain a register of H&S File documents for each project and track documents against programme milestones
Ensure documents are distributed and shared internally across our project teams and externally with our clients
Manage documents in accordance with Electronic Document Management Systems implemented internally by Story and externally by our clients
Provide briefing and instruction to project teams on document management systems / file storage systems and keep them up to date with developments
Undertake periodic audits to ensure documents comply with company templates and document control procedures
As the right candidate for this role, you will have:
- Excellent IT, communication, organisation and planning skills,
Experience of using common date environments
Driven to learn new skills and driven to develop.
Some knowledge of data management systems.
Excellent organisational skills.
