Maintenance Electrician - site based
Location:
Durham
Salary:
£30k - £35k per annum
Permanent
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
On call 1 in 4 standing payment of £219 per week
Over time available
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team at a large medical facility in Durham
Your key responsibilities include:
- To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the contract.
- To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tool
Maintenance of:
- Fire alarm systems
- Light Testing/ fitting
- Staff attack and nurse call systems
- Fitting sockets
- Intruder alarm and security systems
- Electrical installations by all IEE regulations and relevant standard
- Fault finding and repair of plant, controls and equipment
- Fault finding and diagnosis
Qualifications & experience
- Apprenticeship of level 3 NVQ/C&G
- 18th edition
- Be a skilled Maintenance electrician with experience in a buildings or facilities maintenance environment.
- You'll have experience with all aspects of building services and systems electrical Testing
