Shift Electrician
Permanent
Edinburgh
£41,250 - £43,250 inclusive of shift allowance - depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and continuous operation of mechanical and electrical engineering services and building plant.
- Perform efficient electrical maintenance of relevant assets.
- Follow planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule and respond to reactive work orders.
- Diagnose faults and source necessary parts.
- Manage tasks from start to completion, including fault diagnosis and parts sourcing.
- Assist with backlog works and specialized projects.
- Work as part of a wider M&E team, performing tasks beyond electrical systems.
Impact:
- Maintain a physical environment for healthcare delivery.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and record-keeping.
- Provide professional advice on building services maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
- Must have (or be able to obtain) Disclosure Scotland clearance.
- Must be time served
- Must have an NVQ level 3
