Technical Lifecycle Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Life Cycle Manager to join an inclusive friendly, flexible and highly credible consultancy on PFI contracts in the North West region to provide project lifecyle technical and commercial support across the consultancy Projects business.

The role focuses on quality and process, with a requirement for continuous improvement. This includes ensuring effective business relationships are established and maintained with all key stakeholders, customers, partners, contractors and other third parties to deliver first class services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Audit preparation of five-year plans to ensure justification of life cycle spend in line with contractual compliance, whilst managing risk and monitoring fund sufficiency.
Lifecycle / Whole Life Cost Planning
Audit maintenance related activity, asset replacement activity, and maintenance records/PPM plans, commissioning data etc. with a view to ensuring compliance, whilst considering the commercial environment.
Life Cycle Management, Policy, Documentation & Continuous Development
Identify and develop mitigation activities to Project risks.
Ability to review and analyse contract documentation and develop appropriate interpretations for the business
Propose, develop, and manage life cycle benchmarking to provide the company with the metrics required to understand the status of life cycle activities and funds
Monitor and report on annual and five-year budgets
Undertaking audits of lifecycle activity against plans.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Previous experience managing PFI Lifecycle
Developed appreciation of Risk Management
Excellent knowledge and understanding of building fabric and M&E disciplines across the PFI healthcare and education sectors
Substantial understanding of relevant Department of Health, Regulatory and Legislative issues
Commercial and financial awareness
Qualified to HNC or equivalent in engineering discipline
Accredited to either NEBOSH or IOSH
Understanding of internal / external stakeholders & partners and their requirements.
Excellent motivation and influencing skills with a proactive approach
